Neka Collins – Practice Manager

Neka-CollinsGreetings! Most of you already know me and almost everything about me. I am a native of Atlanta, Georgia, married to Thomas Collins, and we have two beautiful daughters, Amber and Gabrielle. It was an awesome Fall day in 1997 when I joined the amazing team of Dr. Alan Kuehn and Dr. Susan Rifkin. I am still here with a smile on my face, enjoying every day like it’s the first day, and looking forward to many more decades of laughs with you, while making sure that you receive the optimal dental care you deserve!

Amy Roman – Hygienist

Amy-RomanI attended Floyd College, where I obtained my dental hygiene degree. I have been with Dr. Rifkin and Associates since 2000. Currently, I live in Acworth with my husband, Tim, and our daughter, Julia. I had many hobbies prior to becoming a mom, but now, when I’m not caring for my patients, I can be found spending time with family and friends or volunteering at church. I take great pride in my work, and enjoy taking care of the children in the practice, talking you through your dental fears and taking care of the “High Maintenance” patients. (You know who you are!) I look forward to seeing you soon!

Courtney Seaberg – Assistant

Courtney-SeabergI’m a native Atlantian and true Georgia Peach. I obtained my associate’s degree in dental assisting at Fortis College and am an alumnus of South Cobb High School. Outside of the office, I love spending time with my daughter, Marley, shopping, and hanging out with friends.

Danielle Brown – Hygienist

Danielle-Brown20161222I bring you greetings from Charleston, South Carolina. I LOVE to laugh, travel, and bring enthusiasm each day. If you have been in the office on one of the days I am here, that loud contagious laugh that you heard – yeah, that was me! I came into the hygiene world in 1994. I moved to Atlanta in 2001 mainly practicing in cosmetic dental offices. I joined Dr. Rifkin and Associates in Spring 2016. Interacting with patients while giving optimal and detailed care is what I do.

Gretchen Gordon – Assistant

Gretchen-GordonHi! For those of you who have been patient for a number of years, I am sure you know my story. I have been employed at Dr. Rifkin and Associates since Winter 1986. Yes, you guessed it, it’s a great place to work, and I love what I do. It is indeed a pleasure day in and day out taking care of each and every one of you. You could be anywhere else, but you chose us and for that I say, “Thank you”, for the confidence you show by allowing us to help you maintain a beautiful and healthy smile.

Jen Dignan – Hygienist

Jennifer-DignanHi. I graduated from Westbrook College in Portland, Maine with my associate's degree in dental hygiene. My husband and I move to Georgia in 1990, and I found a home in this practice in 1991! I was part of the "family" until 1998. My husband transferred with Delta back home to Boston. After raising my family and working in a practice in Massachusetts for 18 years, it was time for a change. I have always wanted to come back home to Dr. Rifkin and the girls I've known for 25 years. Excitedly, I accepted that opportunity in July 2016! I am thrilled to be back with a doctor who is exemplary and always striving to be better! It is a pleasure to reconnect with some of you I knew back in the day and also to make some new friends, all while giving you the best possible dental care.

Kate Van Volkenburg – Hygienist

Kate-VanVolkenburgHi! I am one of the few hygienists on staff here. I have been associated with the practice for over 30 years. Honestly, they didn’t hire me when I was 6! It has been a privilege to help each and every one of you with your dental health. I have loved sharing our lives together. Some of you were just children when you started in the practice, and now I’m treating your children. Thanks for giving me this opportunity. Always remember: floss, brush and SMILE!

Tara Nessmith – Hygienist

Tara-NessmithHi! For those that have never met me, I’m Tara. I started in dentistry in high school. For the last 20 years, I have continued in the field; first as an assistant and then as a hygienist. When I’m not working at Rifkin and Associates, I’m busy with my other full-time job as chauffeur and concierge for my two daughters (Aidyn and Kenzie). My husband, Matt, and I share those duties and the duty of caring for our Belgian Malinois (Brutus).
